Excited to share highlights from day one of Leadership Kentucky in Louisville! What an inspiring start to our journey! We kicked off with a visit to The Healing Place, where we learned about their incredible work in addiction recovery. Their innovative program has helped thousands of individuals rebuild their lives since 1989, offering hope and transformation to those struggling with substance abuse. Next, we explored the Norton Healthcare Resource and Learning Center, where we heard about the impressive records being broken on their track. It's amazing to see how they're promoting health and wellness in the community! Our day continued at the brand new Goodwill Opportunity Center. This state-of-the-art facility is a game-changer for West Louisville, offering a wide range of services and partnering with organizations like KentuckianaWorks, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the U of L College of Dentistry. It's truly a one-stop shop for career development, education, and community support. We wrapped up with a memorable dinner atop our hotel, treated to a breathtaking sunset over the city.
