5 Years. 🤩 I remember being terrified FIVE YEARS AGO to share w/ the internet that I have a business. Who am I? What qualifications do I have? How the f am I qualified? Who will even hire me? I’m just a girl. With a degree in COMM PR. Who was told she was majoring in unemployment. Yet, here we are living in a world where it seems people can’t truly communicate effectively on any level. When I think about the last 5 years of Chylinski Media, I think about…. (p.s. even tho these are bullets w/ emojis, none of this post was written with ai at all. had to give a disclaimer bc its getting a lil wild out here) 🤍 The importance of making business decisions that align with me to my core so that I get to show up as “Danielle” every single day with no awkward buffer in between 🤍 The all in or all out mentality, always trying to leave little room for ambiguity for everyone involved to reduce stress, anxiety, uncertainty & room for error 🤍 The way “delusion” is the only way through because everyone around you will always give you 6543245 “cons” to any scenario, mainly because they wouldn’t make the like choices you do 🤍 The impact of working with clients who truly appreciate and respect the industry, recognizing the time, effort, skillset & expertise that goes into brand alignment, PR & overall online presence 🤍 The significance of my ~fuck it, I’m doing it~ decision making lead me to a handful of different office structures & locations, all leading me into the new space we’re now in 🤍 Saying things even if it’s not “the norm” or what’s seen as what a “woman in business” ~should~ say or do, to using my voice & standing up for what I feel is fundamentally right 🤍 Working with people that bring me joy & alignment, full circle in all aspects of life AND how learning to stand on business, in whatever way I choose to define what that means to me, has been the best part about being alive 🤍 Being uncomfortable daily is the only way to continue to grow & live a life you want, knowing you’re responsible for how you choose to show & feel at all times 🤍 The insane changes across all social media platforms, the constant adapting, relearning, teaching, supporting, pivoting & realigning 🤍 Prioritizing shit is hard af, but you learn to determine what’s needed immediately & what has to wait 🤍 You'll never truly be ready for anything. You just do it. Like this photoshoot: I had a full 8hr day before & didn't touch uphair, make up or change the way I planned, but we rolled w/ it! 🤍 The fact that fear is E V E R Y TH I N G & the quicker you get used to doing life afraid but also remaining “yolo” forward is the only way I want to live life 🤍 Daily life can look & be structured however I want. There are no rules. Literally everything is a social construct and the hardest part is to unlearn what we’re been taught, and push through the judgement of creating your own way of life Hopefully you'll stick around here for the next 5+ years. 😘 📱

This past Monday, I had the pleasure of working with Danielle Chylinski at Chylinski Media. Thank you, Danielle, for supporting me with this opportunity. Our task was to take photographs of the new chef at Zohara Mediterranean Kitchen located in West Hartford. I had the incredible opportunity to help photograph Chef Ilias Roshi, new menu items, and the ambiance at Zohara. The new menu comes out on Thursday, November 14, so check it out if you’re in the area!
