RNG has become a quickly growing source of renewable fuel for many industries and sectors. The process of upgrading various forms of biogas to RNG often requires some form of emissions control either for destruction of a tail gas, off-spec gas, or emergency flaring. Cimarron offers a variety of options from simple open flares to a complete thermal oxidizer solution. Our flares can be used solely for emergency flaring of any reject gas, or as a backup to our thermal oxidizers with support gas assisted flares. We also offer a wealth of enclosed options ranging from a simple “shrouded” flare to our ultra-low emission CEB combustion device, considered BACT in some of the most stringent air districts. For low BTU tail gas, whether it be a result of CO2 removal or some other process, Cimarron offers direct fired thermal oxidizers. Utilizing combustion air blowers rather than traditional louvers, we control the amount of air entering the combustion chamber to more efficiently utilize any support gas required.
