We’re celebrating #ArchivesMonth, and what better way to start us off than by sharing this homerun clip of Pete Rose, the Hit King himself, on Opening Day at Crosley Field in 1969? #FunFindsFriday Visit https://lnkd.in/gvCeFeZd to view the full clip on our YouTube channel. Our artifacts are saying TTFN (Ta-Ta For Now) to CVG Airport - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport ahead of their extensive renovations. There's a lot to move out before they can get started but, as always, we're having fun doing it.
This week, we bid a fond farewell to the vintage cars and steamboats that have been on display at CVG for many years thanks to our great partnership with the Cincinnati Museum Center. These and other displays are departing the airport so we can make space for our multi-year facility modernization program, Elevate CVG. Learn more about those plans here: https://lnkd.in/ghWmPfNM

23 years ago, our country lost countless loved ones in an attack on our nation. While we are in the midst of a heated election season where so many of our differences are being preyed upon and broadcast, we must remember who we are at our cores and how we are alike as humans. This mournful anniversary is a reminder that we must move forward with hope, rather than shutting others out with fear. As we set aside time today to remember everyone and everything we lost on September 11, 2001, it’s important we continuously work to treat each other with kindness and compassion because we are stronger when we are united.

We have LOADS to celebrate, and you’re invited! Join us on Tuesday, September 10 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. for a celebration of everything we’ve accomplished through our Champion More Curiosity Campaign since 2017. When we launched the campaign in July 2017, its purpose was to reimagine our museum experience by creating bold, vibrant and engaging exhibits and to build further financial sustainability through endowment and operating support. Since then, we have developed and opened 20 permanent exhibits through the contribution of many and we would like to thank YOU for your support. Enjoy an open-house style evening filled with explosive programming, exclusive access to our world-class exhibits and the opportunity to engage with staff and curators who make our mission possible each and every day. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. To attend this event, you MUST RSVP by Monday, September 9. Visit https://bit.ly/4cMIQyg to reserve your spot!
