Using Blockchain in Efforts to Solve Water Scarcity WTR tokens serve as the gateway to the Circularity Water ecosystem, offering holders unique access to its features and benefits. As the Circularity Foundation and community evolve, WTR tokens will also introduce governance rights, allowing holders to participate in the direction and development of the ecosystem through voting. This governance functionality is planned as a future enhancement and will be implemented gradually as the community and project mature. The Circularity Foundation manages WTR's reserves, backing it with Bitcoin and water assets, while driving sustainability, growth, and a shift toward decentralized governance. Circularity Foundation's water reserves back the WTR token, investing in water-related assets to ensure sustainability, environmental impact, and long-term growth. #blockchain #watertokens #waterassets #tokenization #circularitywater #watermanagement #aiforwater

Skillicorn Technologies has been completely rebranded along with a fresh new management and a dynamic investment team. Circularity Water has developed an array of technologies, each a valuable piece of the circular economy puzzle. We are finally turning the circular economy into a reality. We're pioneering a sustainable future where waste becomes a valuable resource. Based in Waterlooville, England, we're committed to transforming environmental challenges into opportunities for growth and renewal. Innovative solutions for implementing water circularity in industries include: - Decentralized Water Recycling: Technologies that recycle up to 95% of building wastewater onsite for non-potable uses, reducing freshwater demand. - Energy Recovery: Systems such as BETT** generate electricity from wastewater treatment, powering operations while reducing sludge. - IoT and Digital Twins: Real-time monitoring and optimization of water systems using IoT sensors and digital twins enhance efficiency and predict maintenance needs. - Advanced Treatment Processes: Membrane bioreactors and aerobic granular sludge enable high-quality water recycling and resource recovery. - Resource Recovery: Recover biogas and biosolids for energy and agriculture, reducing waste. **BioElectrochemical Treatment Technology (BETT) is an innovative wastewater treatment system based on microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology. It works by leveraging naturally sourced bacteria to break down organic matter in wastewater, releasing electrons during respiration. These electrons are captured on an electrode, generating direct current electricity. This process accelerates microbial respiration, enabling rapid treatment of high-strength wastewater in hours instead of days, while minimizing sludge production. The system combines anaerobic and electrochemical reactions, avoiding methane production and reducing carbon emissions. It is modular, scalable, and energy-efficient, making it ideal for industries with stringent wastewater regulations. Green Hydrogen needs fresh purified water or desalinated water from #seawater for electrolysis. There are many areas with high #renewableenergy potential are favorable for efficient #hydrogen production, but are also considered water-scarce regions. Here, #seawater desalination provides a solution that offers other benefits beyond hydrogen production, such as improving the #water supply for communities and businesses. While #desalination is an established and promising technology, it is not a silver bullet. In particular its high energy consumption and the disposal of brine, a by-product with a high salt content, poses environmental challenges if not managed properly. #greenhydrogen #energy #energia #energie #hydrogeneurope #nh3 #industrialclusters #energytransition #sdgs2030

Water management holds the key to climate adaptation. Around 69% of the insurable impact of climate change is felt through the water cycle, according to our recent white paper report. Our forecast suggests that we can expect $1.8 trillion in global insurance losses to water-related events over the next 10 years. How did we reach this conclusion? What other conclusions have we made? And most importantly, what can we do about it? Read the report, published in partnership with XPV Water Partners, to find out: https://lnkd.in/eaeRymdD #watersecurity #watermanagement #climatechange
