We love to see this! Amor Collective focuses on empowering Latina-owned businesses to thrive and create a lasting impact in our communities, which is truly inspiring. Last week, our on-site property manager, McKenna Drummond, CPM had the privilege of witnessing 37 Latino small business owners launch their new storefronts at Amor Collective. We’re thrilled to welcome them into the Park West Shopping Center community and can’t wait to see the incredible collaborations that lie ahead!

We are thrilled to share an update on our latest endeavor to support nature, sustainability, and community! We’ve partnered with Alvéole to place a honey beehive on the wetlands at our Wood Village Shopping Center in Wood Village, OR. Bees are incredible creatures that spark environmental education and help people feel more connected to nature, igniting a passion to protect it. After a few months of nurturing the hive, we hosted an environmental education workshop, "The Wonders of Beeswax," for underserved communities in partnership with The City of Wood Village. Watching the joy and curiosity on the participants' faces as they learned about the wonders of bees was inspiring for our team. Being able to participate in such local initiatives not only allows us to stay connected to the communities we serve but also reinforces our core value of Authentic Community – reinforcing our commitment to building and nurturing relationships through sincere interactions. Congratulations, Nikki Tran! Nikki interned with us last summer and has been awarded the prestigious CREW Network Foundation scholarship for 2024! Nikki is one of only 20 undergraduate winners selected from over 200 applicants, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication. Even though she is no longer our intern, we are incredibly proud of Nikki and excited to see her continue to excel in her professional and educational journey!

Exciting Acquisition Announcement! We are thrilled to share our latest milestone at CIRE Equity—the acquisition of an industrial/flex property at 1410 Gillingham Lane! As part of a strategic redevelopment project, we plan to convert the vacant building into a 171,422 light manufacturing asset with enhanced functionality, clear heights, loading, and an expanded footprint. Located in Sugar Land, just 20 minutes southwest of downtown Houston, this site offers excellent access to a large workforce and robust infrastructure. Acquired through a brokered transaction, we extend our gratitude to the seller, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and their brokers, Jim Pratt and Michael J. Taetz, SIOR at Colliers. We also thank Kendall Carew of Citadel Venture Holdings and Charlie Strauss at Capital Markets at JLL, as well as their teams, for bringing this transaction to a successful close.
