Something I'd like to share with the larger community that we've seen at our company over the last several months. Implementing AI successfully takes a different approach than your typical run of the mill technology project. You need to start by EDUCATING stakeholders on the capabilities and limitations of the AI platform you are going to use. There are a lot of new tools and capabilities, so educating stakeholders first is important to drive the next step. Then you need to shift to ideating on business use cases, but then determining the business VALUE. Starting off on an AI journey without having conceptually sound use cases with viable value metrics attached will lead to a wayward AI strategy and will make for difficult decision making down the road. Start the journey right from the beginning!

Last week several Cirrius Solutions Inc. team members and I were able to attend the Data Cloud Implementation Readiness Camp which was exceptionally well led by Arvind Raman and Matthew Wash on the Salesforce Partner Enablement team. A few key takeaways from the session: 1). Data Cloud will excel as a "System of Reference" for clients, not a "System of Record." This provides some distinct advantages for Data Cloud, by being the key system that links all systems together without having to copy or move data between systems. 2). Data Cloud will likely replace the need for many (not all) complex integrations, by making data easy for users to reference across systems without direct integration. This could significantly reduce ongoing integration maintenance costs and technical debt. 3). Data Cloud's flexibility and breadth of scope makes it a terrific "foundation" to build your AI execution strategy around, by giving your AI tools access to grounded data across your entire architecture. Implemented correctly, this will combine the power of LLMs with your business specific data to drive business value at scale. Overall, we at Cirrius Solutions are liking Salesforce Data Cloud more and more as we continue to roll it out for our clients. Its' ability to drive business value across many fronts should make it a core piece of the Salesforce platform for a long time to come. #Salesforce #DataCloud
