Being defensive is a way you protect yourself. 🦸 Think about the movie Hancock with Will Smith. John Hancock does not like being called A - 🕳️ because it triggers a memory of when he was left alone in the hospital all those years ago. 🚘 In Back To The Future, Marty does not like being called Chicken, because he does not want to appear weak. 👊 Think about what you become defensive about. 👊 Think about your co-worker or spouse, and what they appear to be defensive about. Are you able to flip the script and get curious? Are they protecting themself right now?
