Feeling discouraged by your latest cybersecurity training results from your team? In this week’s CISO Blog, Chris Clements, VP of Solutions Architecture, shares his thoughts about how end-user phishing training can be improved. 🗣️ Overheard at work today 🗣️ A coworker's dad fell victim to a clever scam. 😨 Fraudsters posing as the local sheriff's office called him, sounding super legit. 🚓 They stated there were charges pending against him for a past-due parking fine and that they would be sending an officer to arrest him in short order. They sounded so convincing, that they had him running around town depositing money into their account! Reminder: Real law enforcement will NEVER ask you to transfer or deposit money. Stay vigilant out there, folks! And check on your older relatives - these scammers often target them. #ScamAlert #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #CISOGlobalCares #vishing

🚨 We just got word about a close call today! 😱 An employee got an email that looked EXACTLY like their company's login page – with their company’s logo and all. It said they needed to re-enter their password. Seemed legit, so they did... Plot twist: It was a phishing scam! 🎣 The hacker tried to use that network login and password to access their company’s cloud infrastructure. 😬 The MVP of the day? Multi-factor authentication (MFA)! 🦸♀️ It stopped the attack cold. 🥶 Lessons learned: 1️⃣ Always double-check email links before clicking 2️⃣ If in doubt, ditch the link and go to their website manually 3️⃣ USE MFA EVERYWHERE! 🛡️ Stay safe out there, folks! #PhishingAlert #ThinkBeforeYouClick #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #MFASavesTheDay
