Our founder and CEO Ken Griffin took the stage recently at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) PRIORITY Summit in Miami for a discussion with His Excellency Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. BDT & MSD Partners Vice Chair Dina Powell McCormick moderated the conversation. Ken shared his perspective on how to invest today given the uncertainty in global markets. He emphasized that it’s important not to view global economic growth as a zero-sum game. Navy veteran Brad Snyder’s inspiring story took him from service in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he sustained complete vision loss because of an IED bombing, to winning a gold medal at the Paralympic Games exactly one year later. In a conversation with our employees, Brad, now a six-time gold medalist, recounted his incredible journey and provided his own powerful view on the meaning of excellence.
