This past school year, Cite Design volunteered with students in Heather Veneziano's Landscaping course at the ACE Center at Virginia Randolph. The students learned about landscape architecture, the design process, and then implemented their knowledge by creating their own schematic design proposals for the campus renovations happening at VA Randolph. We were impressed by their designs and final presentations to a panel of representatives from Henrico County Public Schools, Henrico County Planning, and more. We hope to see some of their designs on campus soon. A huge thanks to Benjamin Oberhand and Johanna Scogin, AIA, LEED AP who accepted the invitation to share more about their disciplines with the students, helping to make their designs more well-rounded. Shout out to Jon Hershey, Amelia Powers, MURP, ASLA, and Sonakshi Gambhir for sharing their passion for landscape architecture with the next generation! Today is our summer intern Meredith Rosson's last day with us before she heads back to West Virginia University to kick off her senior year as a Landscape Architecture student. We have loved having Meredith on our team this summer. Here's what she had to say, "This summer's internship has been an incredible experience, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity. Working with such a supportive and knowledgeable team has been invaluable; their willingness to assist and share their expertise has made a significant difference. I gained hands-on experience with a variety of projects, including commercial, multi-family, and master planning, and had the chance to visit several sites in person. Overall, this internship has greatly expanded my understanding of the industry, and I’ve learned so much in the process." Good luck this year, Meredith! 💫 🌳

We had a blast at the Riverfront Amphitheater topping out celebration yesterday hosted by Martin Horn. Cheers to the fabulous team bringing this world-class venue to our beloved Richmond! 🎉 🎶 🏗
Yesterday we celebrated the exciting milestone of “topping out” at the Riverfront Amphitheater in Richmond, VA. An ancient Norse tradition builders have participated in for over a thousand years—the tree atop a new building when topped out. This Scandinavian religious rite was to appease the tree-dwelling spirits who may have been displaced due to the construction. In modern times, this celebration is now used to honor the men and women who have worked hard to bring the project to this point. Congratulations to the entire Riverfront (Richmond) Amphitheater team! Well done! Now it’s time to rock out the rest. 🤘 **BUILDERS** Martin Horn | Conquest Moncure & Dunn Inc **SUBCONTRACTORS** Liesfeld Contractor | Cleveland Cement Contractors | Excel Electric | C&L Plumbing, Inc. | Masonomics, Inc. | Liphart Steel Company Incorporated | Timmons Group | GeoStructures, Inc. | VSC Fire & Security, Inc. | Seacom Inc. of Virginia | Alimak | W.H. Yesterday, our team spent the day out of the office touring Grelen Nursery's 1,000 acre tree farm and nursery. We like to mix fun and educational opportunities whenever we can! It was a beautiful day to explore The Market at Grelen and take in the nursery's vast inventory. Thanks to the team at Grelen for taking the time to show us around. 🌳 ☀
