Thank you Stacie Lindsey and the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation for trusting and partnering with us to further your cause. It continues to be the greatest work of our lives to help rare disease patients accelerate treatments. As more patients with Cholangiocarcinoma join this registry, the better this disease will be understood which directly results in improved treatments. https://citizen.health/ccf #patientsfirst #RareAsOne
A few years ago, we took a significant step forward in our mission to better understand cholangiocarcinoma and bring hope to patients worldwide by partnering with Ciitizen, now called Citizen Health, to develop the International Cholangiocarcinoma Patient Registry (ICPR). Citizen Health is a trusted partner, and we are proud to work with them to empower patients to be proactive in their health and to participate in research. The ICPR unites patients and the global research community in a powerful way. By contributing their health records, patients become integral to research initiatives to accelerate progress in finding a cure. Rest assured, all personally identifiable information is removed, ensuring complete patient privacy while allowing medical data to be used to understand #cholangiocarcinoma better. This initiative benefits those living with the disease today and helps in developing targeted diagnostics and treatments for the future. You don't have to just take my word for it, though. Listen to patient Fred Neubauer share his experience with ICPR here: https://lnkd.in/gQxu5-Za Learn more about the registry and sign up here: https://lnkd.in/gkbZCcST #communitydrivenresearch #PatientEmpowerment #MedicalResearch #HealthcareInnovation #HopeInResearch #PatientAdvocacy #StrengthinCommunity

Last week, Citizen Health CEO and Co-Founder, Farid Vij, joined an exciting panel at the White House Clinical Trials Forum to discuss the role of real world data in clinical trial innovation and speeding up drug development. "We're now starting to see how we can use data to potentially even replace the placebo arm so that more patients - because there are such few and the burden is so high - actually get access to the therapy and for those gene therapies that are so promising, you can continue to follow those patient over a long period of time and continue to get data that we can learn from for the next disease and the next drug." We’re excited to share that Citizen Health’s CEO and Co-Founder, Farid Vij, is speaking at the White House Clinical Trials Forum today about how data and technology can reduce the burden on patients to drive research and get much-needed medicines to patients faster. These innovative approaches are compelling more companies to invest in rare disease by reducing the cost of developing these critical therapies and most importantly, involve patients and families at every stage of the research process. #ClinicalTrialsForum #raredisease #innovation #drugdevelopment
