The Aurora City Council will meet via teleconference tonight, Nov. 4, for a Study Session at 5:15 p.m. and a Regular Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings can be viewed at AuroraTV.org, Comcast Channels 8/880 or via the AuroraTV phone/streaming app. Those without access to those platforms can call 855.695.3475 to listen to audio only. Please note the meetings are virtual-only and will not be held at the Aurora Municipal Center, which is currently serving as a Voter Polling and Service Center. The public may submit comments for Public Invited to be Heard, or for a specific agenda item on the Regular Meeting agenda, by calling the live public comment line at 855.695.3475 and pressing *3 to reach the operator. The operator will ask which item you would like to speak on and place you in the queue for that item. Speakers have up to three minutes each to address council. There is one hour devoted to Public Invited to be Heard on non-agenda items at the beginning of the Regular Meeting; the total time devoted to speakers for individual agenda items (unless they are Public Hearings) is 30 minutes per item. Callers wishing to speak during the Public Invited to be Heard portion must call in by 6:30 p.m. Callers for public hearings or specific agenda items must call in before the Clerk calls the title of the item they wish to speak on. The workshop is not mandatory, but attendees receive one extra point on their grant application evaluation.
