🎉 Historic Cocoa Village Main Street (HCVMS) has been named Florida Main Street Program of the Month for March 2025 by Secretary of State Cord Byrd! 🏆 Since joining in 1995, HCVMS has secured over $20 million in investments, created 110 new businesses, and added 610 new jobs. 📣 The City of Cocoa is now accepting applications for the UpStart Cocoa Small Business Development Program! The three-year forgivable loan program provides financial support to minority- or woman-owned businesses looking to start or expand in Cocoa. We've partnered with the Small Business Development Council (SBDC) at Eastern Florida State College's Cocoa campus to help applicants better prepare for their interviews with the UpStart review selection committee. Each applicant is required to meet with the SBDC to gain valuable business insights and ensure they are well-prepared to maximize the grant’s impact on their business. Selected UpStart participants will receive customized business mentorship and education through weVENTURE Women's Business Center at Florida Tech’s Ignite 360 program.
