Green Bay Metro Fire Department is hiring Fire Fighters!

The JBS project received its final approval from the Green Bay Common Council. Construction begins this month. There a few things that feel as good as turning wild hopes into tangible realities. This project is now considered “a national model” on how to include stakeholders while centering equity and improving speed of housing development. As many of you know housing is deeply important to me. As someone who grew up homeless, I know the benefits and pride that comes with having a stable home. In times that feel so divided and occasionally feeling like we are going backward, I could not think of a better testament to unity and progress than this project. This is just another example of Green Bay being an amazing place to work and live. This project is the culmination of lots of dreamers and doers, but would not be possible without the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative whose arensal of brilliant instructors and inspirational leaders gave us what we needed to turn an impossible idea into a history making complete project. #localgov #housing https://lnkd.in/g5GcnjhA
