  • 🏆Congratulations to two members of the Johns Creek Public Works team, who each recently received awards from the American Public Works Association Georgia Chapter! Construction Manager Riki Forney received the Project of the Year award for managing the Haynes Bridge Road at Old Alabama Road intersection improvement project, which was completed in December 2023. The project, which included the addition of dedicated turn lanes, assisted in reducing congestion and allowed more turning traffic to move through the intersection. The project also improved pedestrian connectivity along the corridor. Field Services Manager Jason Nealey received the Supervisor of the Year award. In the past year, Neely Introduced a Geographic Information Systems (GIS)-integrated concrete inspection system, and combined that with a five-year concrete assessment and repair plan. In addition to managing a variety of contractors, he implemented a digitized work order system to help streamline operations. Forney and Nealey were recognized by Johns Creek City Council during its meeting Monday night. Congratulations!
