Automobiles Lights: I can't believe how bad, distracted and/or negligent our average American driver has become these days. There are laws that tell us to turn on the lights 1 hr after/before sunrise/ sunset. I used to commute a lot and I was surprised to see dark colored vehicles driving in deep fog or rainy days with no lights at all. I used to flash them but they seemed to have no clue why I did that. There is no common sense anymore and with the coming winter, I foresee more fatalities and injuries on our busy Connecticut roads and highways. As a ex-Traffic Engineer for the City of Hartford, I worked a lot with police officers and they told me that they never enforced these laws. I'm sorry to say but it's a shame !
