The Roswell Air Center is currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Property and Contracts Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the following: -Experience in commercial real estate activities such as buying, selling, and contract and property management or an equivalent combination of education and or experience. -Functional knowledge of property negotiation practices and techniques; property management principles, methods and practices; legal aspects of real estate leases and rental agreements; applicable laws, codes and regulations pertaining to the acquisition and disposition of real property; and property legal descriptions, site plans, surveys and appraisal methods, easements, deed and title reports, and water rights. -Ability to make judgments and determine priorities; interpret Federal, State and local laws, statutes, ordinances, and policies with regard to Airport property; write proposals and contracts; represent the City of Roswell Air Center effectively in negotiations. -Analyze complex operational and administrative problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend or implement effective courses of action. -Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards, and management controls. -Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with businesses, contractors, special interest groups, co-workers, city departments and the public. -Understand and comply with rules, policies, and regulations. -Functional knowledge on city development and property standards. -Perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation. -Operate a computer with demonstrated proficiency using applicable software. Individuals must be capable of operating vehicles safely and have an acceptable driving record. Knowledge of: -Commercial real estate activities such as buying, selling, and contract and property management, including commercial airport properties. -Functional knowledge of aviation industry rules, regulations, and procedures.
