The City of San Leandro is one of the most diverse cities in the nation located at the center of the dynamic San Francisco Bay Area. The San Leandro Public Library is seeking a dynamic Supervising Librarian to join our energetic team and help us transform library services in our vibrant community.    The San Leandro Public Library is a forward-thinking, energetic and dynamically evolving organization with four unique facilities including our Main Library, and three branches varying in size from 10,000 sf to 780 sf. The Mulford-Marina Branch is undergoing major expansion and upgrade, with architectural plans nearing completion and construction expected to begin in late 2024. It’s an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a groundbreaking project that will shape library services in the City of San Leandro.    Our recent strategic planning focus groups, which engaged nearly 200 community members, provided invaluable insights, helping us craft a focused direction for services and programs tailored to our community needs.     Extended Hours: Cool Down This Weekend at the San Leandro Main Public Library The San Leandro Main Public Library, located at 300 Estudillo Ave, will be open as a Cooling Center on Saturday, October 5th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, October 6th, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors will have access to water, power outlets, and refreshing air conditioning.
