About us

Taylor, Texas is a city in the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan area, just 29 miles northeast of downtown Austin. Highways 79 and 95 intersect in Taylor affording the city a strategic location on the eastern side of Williamson County, one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation according to Forbes Magazine. Williamson County and the Central Austin area are consistently ranked at the top of national and state, lifestyle and economic awards. With affordable housing and good schools -- including a new Taylor High School and Legacy Early College High School (paired with Temple College) -- it's a great place to raise a family.
