Animas Street (719) 846-9843 P O Box 880 fax (719) 846-4140 Trinidad, CO 81082 www.trinidad.co.gov REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Trinidad is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional on-call consulting services for general engineering tasks, as well as project specific assistance, performed in a prompt and professional manner in accordance with the standards of the industry. Proposals will be received by the City of Trinidad Engineering Department, 125 North Animas Street, Trinidad, CO 81082, until 5:00 p.m. March 22, 2024. Work to be provided on a Purchase Order type basis for each task and completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director within the time allocated as mutually agreed to at the start of the assignment. Scope of work shall include but not be limited to: • Provide assistance on various projects being designed in-house or ability to design complete projects, including intersections and sidewalks, storm drainage, ADA compliance, utility design, including gas, water, electrical, sanitary and storm sewer, and general infrastructure, including street trees and their effect on infrastructure as well as noxious weed identification and remediation. Knowledge of historical buildings and new facilities a plus. • Provide complete design services for Projects identified by City Staff, such as new building construction and site development, parking lot grading and surfacing, and parks and trail systems. • Firms should have the ability to sub-consult with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Firms as need for new and or existing buildings. • Be able to provide construction ready drawings and specifications for projects. • Assist in providing quantity and cost estimates. • Ability to acquire grants and granting assistance. Any firm submitting a response to the RFP must be a Professional Engineering firm with at least one principal being a registered Professional Engineer, or a licensed and registered Architect or Landscape Architect if applicable to a specific project, in the State of Colorado. Proposals should be presented in accordance with the specified requirements in Attachment I. Request for Proposals for Stained Glass Panels to Abut the Walls to the Ceiling at Space to Create Commons Trinidad— December 19, 2023 — The City of Trinidad, Colorado, seeks an artist firm or individual qualified to create stained glass panels to be used as wall-to-ceiling attachments between the retail spaces at the Space to Create Commons, 218 W. Main Street, Trinidad, CO 81082. Specifications The panels will need to be 29 ½” in height and varying lengths up to a possible 42 feet in total. At City’s discretion based upon cost, panels may be alternated with plain glass. The glass should be opaque enough to allow light to pass through. Artist will be responsible for re-measuring to ensure accuracy prior to creating the panels. Proposals Proposals will be accepted at the City of Trinidad, City Clerk’s Office, 135 N.
