The City of Upper Arlington is a first-ring, primarily residential suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Over 350 emergency preparedness kits were distributed today at Fire Station 72, with community members arriving by car, truck, SUV, bicycle, and even moped! 🚘 🛵 Each kit, containing essential items such as first aid supplies, a solar power bank, and a survival blanket, was distributed as part of National Emergency Preparedness Month. 🚨 🚒 Thanks to a partnership between UA CARES, Franklin County Public Health, and UA CHAT, the drive-thru event was a success with all kits handed out by noon! #EmergencyPreparednessMonth #UAFire #UACARES #UpperArlington

Construction is quickly moving forward at the Bob Crane Community Center, and we’re thrilled to share the latest updates on the progress! 🏗️ 🎉 Crews have already started painting and installing tile, adding the finishing touches that will soon bring this building to life. In the coming weeks, they’ll be laying the gym floor and installing the basketball hoops—just in time for the much-anticipated grand opening in the spring of 2025. 🏀 We're also excited to incorporate the iconic blue bricks from the former Lazarus Kingsdale building, preserving a piece of Upper Arlington’s history in the new facility. 🧱 💙 We’re getting closer and closer to the finish line, and can’t wait to see the Bob Crane Community Center become a new hub for the Upper Arlington community! #BobCraneCommunityCenter #Construction #UpperArlington #UAParksAndRec
