Hope in the Heartland: Wichita’s Quest to End Homelessness is a documentary film produced for Project HOPE that shines a light on the complex issue of homelessness in Wichita. It follows the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness, the tireless efforts of organizations providing support, and the impact of homelessness on our community. The film aims to foster understanding, empathy, and inspire action to address this critical issue. Hope in the Heartland will premiere at this year's Tallgrass Film Festival, screening at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 at the Mary Jane Teall Theatre in Century II. There will be a Q&A with the filmmakers and subjects after the premiere on October 24. Tickets are available at https://bit.ly/3U9d2gK. Learn more about Project HOPE at https://bit.ly/3Y7wwDr.

How much water would it take to refill Cheney? About 25.9 billion gallons of water, or roughly 236 Century II buildings. Until we get 236 Century IIs worth of water, it's crucial that we continue to find ways to conserve during the drought. To see more drought facts, visit https://lnkd.in/gdwkKjid.
