During election season, political campaign signs are a common sight across the Bay Area. In Fremont, campaign signs are prohibited on public property; however, they are allowed on private property subject to conditions and limitations. For more information, visit https://lnkd.in/gzBwNTqh. In addition, please note that for the upcoming election on November 5, signs are not allowed to be displayed until September 21 and must be taken down by November 19. The City will proactively remove illegal campaign signs or open a code enforcement case as they are discovered (depending on the location). Anyone can report illegal campaign signs by visiting https://lnkd.in/gPG_d-EN or by emailing code_enf@fremont.gov. Displaying campaign signs is one way to support your candidate of choice, but please remember to comply with City requirements. Thanks for your cooperation!
