The CWC team is growing and we would like to introduce some recent new hires! Gustavo Santos is a Assistant Project Manager at Citywide Contracting LLC. He has taken the lead on digital design for our custom millwork shop In Randolph, MA. His responsibilities include spearheading our CNC machine as well utilizing our Mozaik and AutoCAD software. In addition to working with the millwork team Gustavo is supporting project management as we gear up for our 2025 projects. Gustavo grew up in New Hampshire and graduated The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Architecture. Gustavo enjoys traveling and cooking in his spare time. Velney Construction and Citywide Contracting are partnering on a great project in Somerville! The project consists of renovations to the first floor of the First Church Somerville UCC (UCC) at 89 College Ave., Somerville, MA, for use as an overnight emergency homeless shelter space by Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC). The scope includes finishing areas for the inclusion of about twelve (12) twin-size bunk beds and two (2) twin-size individual beds – 26 beds total – spread throughout three (3) dorm rooms; upgrades to an existing ADA bathroom; adding one (1) ADA Shower and two (2) regular showers.

Yesterday, Synergy and Newmark hosted a fantastic broker lunch at Two Drydock Avenue! We had the pleasure of welcoming over 115 brokers to our open house, providing a great opportunity to tour the remaining available spaces: 🏙️ 13,634 RSF on the 11th Floor with a private roof deck 🏢 12,841 RSF Spec Suite on the 6th Floor Attendees also explored our top-floor amenity center, featuring a roof deck, common space, conference facility, and tenant gym. Elbert is currently a Sophomore at Wentworth Institute of Technology pursuing a Construction Management Degree. He will participate in three rotations supporting Estimating, Project Management and Field Operations.
