This week, our very own Emily Benz took the stage at the AZ Heat Summit, which brought together hundreds of public health, emergency management, social services practitioners focused on heat resiliency across the state. We were proud to showcase our summer work on the ground, meeting with cooling center operators and community leaders to better understand their challenges and how Roundtable can support the Arizona Department of Health Services in their vital efforts. Our mission is to foster collaboration and resource-sharing for those on the front lines of complex, inter-agency challenges like extreme heat relief. It was an honor to share our progress with such a passionate audience, and we're excited to continue driving impact in this critical space!

We were thrilled to present at the Bipartisan Policy Center's Summit last week, discussing the role of AI in supporting election officials. It was an incredible experience to share a room with election officials, policy-makers, technologists, and other thought leaders, all focused on enhancing the integrity and efficiency of our elections. At Civic Roundtable, we're committed to leveraging AI to empower election officials with the tools and insights they need for the challenges ahead. The future of elections is one where technology supports transparency, security, and trust—and we're excited to be at the forefront of that conversation! If you’re curious to learn more about our work in the field, reach out to our team! And check out our very own Emily Benz in action! #AI #Elections #GovTech #Innovation #CivicTech #ElectionSecurity

This month, we've been learning from veterans affairs leaders, exploring innovative ways to support veterans and their families through our platform. 🏠 Last week, we hosted our third "Roundtable by Roundtable" discussion, focusing on veteran homelessness with leaders from 10+ states. Huge thanks to Abbilyn Miller for facilitating these crucial conversations across veterans affairs, housing, and homelessness agencies. 🛡 This week, we connected with leaders at the National Association of State Directors of Veteran Affairs (NASDVA) annual meeting in Indianapolis. Special shoutout to teammate Ashley Leopold - Murch, USMC Veteran, for introducing us to this community. We're excited to continue these important conversations as we build tools for mission-driven public servants across all areas of government. #Veterans #NASDVA #CivicRoundtable #VeteranHomelessness #Collaboration

We’re excited to release major upgrades to our search functionality for Roundtable users! Public servants are inundated with content – policy documents, studies, guidelines, reports – and as a result, waste time struggling to find what they’re looking for. We created Roundtable search to help practitioners quickly and easily find the right information when they need it: • Search for text within any type of file, including text within images, such as fliers or brochures • Videos, such as meetings and trainings, are automatically transcribed and searchable • Typo handling and fuzzy matching handles misspellings and related terms The combination of these features results in a powerful search engine that, as one user put it, “has drastically reduced the time I spend looking for specific information.” See more of what’s new at Roundtable on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gkzQC2sd
