This week, volunteers joined Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES) and Oregon’s SOLVE to pick up garbage along Gladstone’s High Rocks Park as part of the last cleanup of the 2024 Summer Waterways Cleanup series. Participants learned how removing trash on the ground prevents unwanted trash from being carried into rivers and streams by stormwater runoff, a leading cause of water pollution in Oregon.
