Clair UAE was delighted to supply a full production package to British indie band Kasabian on their recent trip to the Middle East. Taking care of the touring crew, we designed and deployed a substantial L-Acoustics PA system for the Coca-Cola Arena concert, stepping in with local knowledge for our group partner, Britannia Row Productions Limited's  touring client. This season, fans at The Jones are about to hear game day in a whole new way! We’re thrilled to have teamed up with ME Engineers and L-Acoustics to enhance the fan experience with a sound system capable of delivering concert-quality audio. We outfitted the main bowl with a new system, upgraded the DSP and amplifiers, and revamped the PA control room. When I finally realized that I was a lousy drummer and began focusing on live sound I worked as part of my brother Scott McVeigh’s stage crew at Michigan State University. We were the local crew on a concert - covering the ice in the hockey arena, setting up chairs (so many chairs), building the stage and, finally, interfacing with the touring party. It was there that I learned about sound companies, lighting companies, trucking companies, etc. and Clair Brothers was, quite often, the sound provider whose trucks we unloaded. This was around 1976 and the main loudspeaker from Clair was the S4, that huge all-in-one-heavy-as-hell-great-sounding box. Nobody that came through town was flying them, everything was ground stacked. With a body and skill set that were purely casters and covers I quickly learned where not to be during set-up. These days Clair Global is a worldwide operation, yet maintains a family vibe and that's what I wanted to learn more about. For the eighth year running, our Data Services team delivered seamless connectivity for over 45,000 attendees at BottleRock Napa Valley. With the support of Cisco and the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA)'s OpenRoaming, we kept festival-goers connected throughout the three-day event. Our network supported 23,000 concurrent users, enabling them to easily share their experiences on social media, live stream their favorite artists, and buy festival merch—all without a hitch. Our Integration team helped bring the recently opened Hard Rock Rockford to life, providing audio, video, control systems, IPTV, and performance lighting for the casino spaces, as well as staging, soft goods, and rigging for the live performance venue. Proud to have collaborated with NV5 and Sceno Plus to make this project a reality!
