About us

Clare V. is a brand dedicated to beautiful, chic, functional, and fun products. Founded in 2008 by Clare Vivier, Clare V. combines laid-back California style with Parisian polish. Our assortment includes handbags, wallets & other small leather goods, clothing, hats, jewelry, sunglasses, and more. We've collaborated with artists, brands, and organizations including Caddis Eyewear, Steven Alan, Mike D., Racquet Magazine, Anthropologie, The Center for Reproductive Rights, and Every Mother Counts, among others. Since opening the first Clare V. flagship in Silverlake in 2012, we've opened twelve additional shops: Nolita, Santa Monica, Brentwood Country Mart, West Hollywood, Amagansett, Montecito, Seattle, Brooklyn, Newport Beach, San Francisco (Hayes Valley & Fillmore), and Chicago.

    We like to dress for Le Jogging in the most inspirational kit possible, and ideally one that transitions easily to après-run activities like the coffee shop, the market, or even to drinks. We partnered with Tracksmith because we love their dedication to the non-professional (but competitive!) runner and their attention to the details of performance, function, style, and color. The result: a singlet, running shorts, tee, hat, bandana, poche, and running shoes, all ready to go. Allons-y!

    In January we celebrated the launch of Clare V. x MOTHER Denim. A collaboration that celebrates both brands’ shared love for our hometown of Los Angeles and a commitment to local craftsmanship. The capsule seamlessly weaves together the two brands unique personalities - MOTHER’s rebellious California spirit and Clare V.’s French leaning indie vibe. Through this collaboration, Clare V. and MOTHER will make a donation of $20,000 to the Downtown Women's Center to help end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles.
