Today's employee spotlight is Faith Roda! Faith is a Category Analyst for Procurement's Kitchen Supplies team and has been with Clark for three years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Faith said, "Everyone at Clark is driven to be the best. They're self-starters and are eager to take risks and try new things. There's also a sense of community with campus events and team volunteering."

Today's employee spotlight is Jack Downing! Jack is a Vendor Analyst for Procurement's Dry Foods team and has been with Clark for three years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Jack said, "Everyone is eager to help you succeed and management is very in touch with their employees. We are free to explore different responsibilities and roles and are encouraged to take risks. Consumables is still a relatively new segment at Clark, which is exciting because I can be a part of its growth."

Today's employee spotlight is Christa Witman! Christa is a Senior Vendor Manager for Procurement's Refrigeration team and celebrated a milestone employee anniversary in 2024, 15 years! When asked what she enjoys most about working for Clark, Christa said, "I appreciate the ability to work a hybrid schedule and the flexibility that it provides. I'm also happy to be part of a great team that has become more than just co-workers, but also friends."

A big thank you to Blessings of Hope for joining us at our corporate campus this week for a lunch & learn! CEO David Lapp spoke to employees about Blessings of Hope's mission and process, the impact volunteers have on their organization, and the growth they've experienced since their inception in 2006. Theresa Weinhofer, Procurement Vendor Analyst, also spoke about her involvement with Blessings of Hope and her successful initiative of donating Procurement's product samples. Blessings of Hope is a local organization that addresses hunger and food insecurity in Lancaster County and beyond. They partner with large corporations and food suppliers to receive food donations that would otherwise go to waste and distribute them to the community. Today's employee spotlight is Jordan Goss! Jordan is a Vendor Manager for Procurement's Disposables Food Service Supplies team and has been with Clark for three years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Jordan said, "I love the sense of ownership and autonomy you're given with your vendors and categories from day one. There's also a strong team mentality and everyone is always willing to step in when you need a hand."

When asked what she enjoys most about working for Clark, Elizabeth said, "Clark gives back to its employees and the community; it shows that they truly care. I also recently moved to Delaware and was able to transition to become a fully remote employee. I appreciate the flexibility and trust shown by my manager and entire team."

Today's employee spotlight is Lucas Machado! Lucas is a Category Manager for Procurement's Cooking Equipment team and has been with Clark for three years. When asked what he enjoys most about working for Clark, Lucas said, "I appreciate the autonomy we're given when managing our categories and other day-to-day responsibilities. At Clark, we pride ourselves on having an entrepreneurial spirit. By allowing us to devise and implement different strategies, it promotes creativity and provides us with a sense of pride and ownership over our work."

Earlier this summer, WebstaurantStore's Nashville distribution center marked its official launch under the guidance of General Manager Paul Overmann and Director of Operations Gary Sowders. The state-of-the art facility shipped its first order to Game Terminal, a popular arcade and lounge in Nashville. The order signifies the beginning of what promises to be a cutting-edge automated operation. The Nashville warehouse incorporates AutoStore technology, which is expected to handle nearly 50% of its total shipping volume once fully operational. Congratulations to our Nashville team!
