🚧 ✨ Happy Bid Day! Instead of our Senior Estimator, Marty, handling a recent small project bid solo as he normally would, we turned it into a fun day of learning. Members of our project teams each took portions of the scope to practice their bidding skills. Great job team! Thank you to Marty and Rachele for growing the next generation of estimators! #GeneralContractor #Teamwork #Mentorship #LearningOpportunities #BiddingProcess

Huge congratulations to Ben Barlag and William Hepler on their graduation from the Foreman Training Program at Arcade Wayfinding (a training company in West Seattle that focuses on finding the best ways to help construction industry people make beneficial changes to their habits and workflow)! Ben and Willie’s dedication to the program, commuting twice per week to West Seattle, while still working full-time juggling job site responsibilities has been exemplary, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact of their new skills on their projects. Congratulations to you both!

✨⚒ Exciting News from North Kitsap Service Center! Over the past week, our team completed a major project milestone. We partnered with Precision Concrete and Barnhardt Crane to complete a wall tilt, in which 50 tilt-up wall panels (each panel is about 20-30 sqft weighing 10-40 tons!) were lifted into place via crane. In the weeks leading up to the wall tilt, casting beds were placed to serve as the substrate upon which all the panels were originally poured. They were all about 4” thick, unreinforced, and will be torn up and recycled now that the tilt is complete. We had about 35,000 sqft, or 400+ cy, of casting beds! The crawler crane worked its way around each building, carefully breaking the panels loose from the casting beds, tilting them vertical and setting them in keyways along the footings. The heaviest panel was about 70k lbs! The panels were braced, with braces anchored into the interior slab. Now, onto steel work and welding the panels together. Great job team! Stay tuned for more updates as we transform NKSC. #clarkconstructioninc #tiltupconstruction #tiltuppanels #NorthKitsap #NorthKitsapServiceCenter #ConstructionMilestone #BuildingTheFuture
