Our Physical Science course is designed to pique the natural curiosity of middle school students and lead them through the processes of investigation and discovery. The spring semester course will introduce students to the basic principles of Physics including: - Forces and Motion - Work and Simple Machines - Energy and Energy Resources - Heat and Heat Technology - Electricity and Electromagnetism This course includes labs. Want to learn how to read a script, storyboard a script, or write your own script? This class was made for you! Film Narrative is an entry level course that provides students with a fundamental understanding of screenwriting and story boarding. Students learn the basics of film analysis, cinematic elements, script formation, and narrative structure as they develop skills in reading scripts and bringing their own story to the screen. Students study clips from their favorite movies, and dissect the full script of The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe. By the end of the semester, students are equipped to put their own story into script and storyboard format.
