In our conversations with in-house leaders, we're seeing an increased focus on making internal investigations more efficient and more valuable for decision-making. Clearbrief CEO @jacqueline Schafer sat down with @Justin Bachman from @Legal Dive to discuss how AI is making an impact already in this space. “When it comes to in-house legal departments, for years their main task has been contract lifecycle management, and there’s a lot of other areas where legal ops can add value, and one of those main areas has to do with pre-litigation – avoiding litigation. That includes compliance. That includes internal investigations. That includes responding to nasty letters that you get from government agencies or attorneys. That’s where our customers are really focusing. They’re using Clearbrief for that pre-litigation sort of daily work so they can avoid the really costly, expensive lawsuit that happens down the line. And when they do have a lawsuit, then their goal becomes, how do we collaborate better with our outside counsel? How do we keep costs reasonable for these matters? How do we get to a resolution so that this doesn’t drag on forever? Those are all areas that are really fruitful for generative AI tools like Clearbrief, and that’s really where our focus now is starting to expand. We’ve been working with several in-house legal teams at the largest global corporations over the last year and a half: bespoke solutions for in-house that use generative AI just for those items that they want to handle internally. An amazing review by Shannon Boettjer of Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP about our product featured in the New York State Bar Association's Commercial and Federal Litigation Section Newsletter last week! " I cannot believe that I am saying this, but drafting the record and adding more support to an argument is actually fun with Clearbrief." Need we say more?
Founder and CEO at Clearbrief.ai (2023 Litigation Product of the Year, 2022 New Law Company of the Year, Legalweek)
It's rare to have top litigators share the details of their experiences using legal tech. That's why I could not be prouder of this article by Shannon Boettjer of large firm Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP about her personal experience using Clearbrief.ai, which was published in the New York State Bar Association's Commercial and Federal Litigation Section Newsletter last week. Some highlights of the article and Shannon's journey as a complex litigation expert using the platform: "Any litigator who is willing to partner with a machine to reduce tedium, improve the ability to review and analyze the record, and to free up time for analysis should explore Clearbrief.ai. It won the 2023 Product of the Year at Legalweek, and, having used it, I understand why: Clearbrief is a clear winner." I especially loved how Shannon discussed her take on the animations inside Clearbrief as the user walks through the workflows - "I must admit that I genuinely enjoy the anthropomorphism added to the program; it is like having a fun, whimsical friend helping on the side who turns drudgery into a playful, amusing, entertaining sport. Yes, a sport, where the attorney and its team member (the machine) are working together to rack up points (you get scored while drafting) to win. I cannot believe that I am saying this, but drafting the record and adding more support to an argument is actually fun with Clearbrief." . . . "This is not to say that Clearbrief will write a perfect draft for you; it will not. But it does deliver on its promise to eliminate the tedious tasks that could drive a litigator to tears and to promote realization rates for otherwise time-consuming administrative tasks." Clearbrief users - would love your thoughts on the lighthearted animations in the platform! What do you think - are they fun, or should we replace them with something more serious (as some have suggested to me)? 🤔 #litigation #ai #legalwriting Mark Britton Court Lorenzini Amy Weaver Matt Margolis Jim Shaughnessy Erica Duignan Minnihan Jack Newton Bryan Garner Authentic Ventures How Women Invest Reign Ventures Daniel Pollick Beth Birnbaum Barney Harford Hadi Partovi Kelly Wright Frederic Kerrest Robert Ambrogi Richard Tromans
