Join us for our next education session on 2.13.25: How AI is Impacting the Built Environment. Artificial Intelligence is infiltrating every aspect of life. In this session we will discuss how it is already improving the design, construction and operation of commercial buildings. Our moderator Christopher Allen Tadych Toddy, AIA will provide background information before we turn it over to our speaker from Vocon who will demonstrate their AI generated virtual design studio and discuss how AI is optimizing the way design professionals are approaching their process. We'll hear from Turner Construction Company on the various ways they use AI in simulations and production tracking as well as an interesting way they have incorporated this new technology to ensure job safety. Gardiner. will bring us up to date on the ways AI has improved the HVAC industry and building automation systems (BAS), allowing for improved energy efficiency in our buildings. Sustainable Energy Services, Inc. will walk us through how they have used ChatGPT for data analyses, dramatically cutting their process time. Our presenters will offer case studies and we'll be sure to leave time for Q&A. Thanks to our partner AIA Cleveland for helping to organize this session. We're kicking off the new year with a great education session on January 9th, 8-10 AM ET. Our speakers will present innovative new technologies used to build and operate commercial buildings. We'll learn about inventive ultra low-power sensors and energy harvesting technology that do not require WiFi, cellular signals or the building's internal wiring. We'll also hear about cutting edge energy systems used in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland Museum of Natural History projects that allow for remarkable energy savings and reduced emissions. There are also advancements in the way contaminants are removed from boiler systems that require no chemicals, making the process safer and easier as well as more operationally efficient and cost effective. Our last team of speakers will provide a case study of the One Boston Wharf Road project. This unique project incorporated groundbreaking new technology in the manufacture of cement. If every project used this new technology, it would cut carbon emissions from the cement used by 90% without sacrificing performance. Speakers: Mike Smith, Whitespace Tom Sherman, Sustainable Energy Services, Inc. Brian Kane, Osborn Engineering Caroline Murray, Turner Construction Company Mitch Clark, Sublime Systems 2 continuing education credits for: BOMA, AEE, ASHRAE, AIA HSW, certificate of attendance available for self reporting for Professional Engineers, LEED and others. $15 for members of AIA, ASHRAE, 2030 Districts, Cleveland State University, Greater Cleveland Partnership, USGBC, City of Cleveland $20 for non-members Students attend for free Zoom link will be sent once registration is complete.
