Exciting News from Cord Blood Connect 2024! 🎉 We are proud to announce that Kim Vincent, our dedicated Lab Manager at CCBC, presented a poster at the 2024 Cord Blood Connect conference! Her work, titled “Reduction of Laboratory Supply Costs and Streamlining of Ordering Process,” is a significant step forward in Cord Blood Bank Management, Administration, and Sustainability. Kim and co-authors Sara Shields, Marcie Finney, Wouter Van’t Hof, and Dawn Thut have developed a strategy to reduce laboratory costs by approximately 13% while streamlining the supply ordering process. This innovative approach ensures that CCBC remains compliant with licensure requirements while maximizing efficiency—a particularly remarkable achievement for a standalone, not-for-profit public cord blood bank like ours. Join us in congratulating Kim and the team for their invaluable contributions to advancing cord blood banking! #CordBloodConnect #CordBlood #LabManagement #CCBC
