I've talked about this before, particularly during this year's Farnborough International Airshow, but today I wanted to share this animation showing how when 3 completely different fastener systems come together a unique solution presents itself! Here we can see: The Verbindungs Techniken Rüther QCTL® (Quick Change Track Lock) Seat Track Fastener fitting into the seat track Followed by EJOT UK Advanced Engineering Fasteners TSSD insert product mounted into a vertical panel And finally attaching the QCTL® to the TSSD is the Click Bond LoMas Screw Synergy in action! For more information on all 3 of these products please contact our sales team at FASTAVIA LIMITED #fasteners #aerospace #innovate #worktogether FASTAVIA LIMITED are founder member of the Alliance of Global Fastener Technology Specialists (AGFTS)

Meet the Click Bond CS922 High-Shock Deck Stud. A heavy duty adhesive bonded fastener designed initially for Naval applications to assist in the mounting of floor panels on wet decks. The major issues in that environment are of course the expansion and contraction of the material at the joint, and salt corrosion. A bonded solution such as this takes care of the salt corrosion issue at the joint (making it ideal for both interior & exterior usage), but the CS922 also offers a 360 degree float to accommodate any changes in material characteristics due to frequent temperature fluctuation as well as any impact the stud is likely to suffer! Bonded correctly to steel, using our CB420-50E adhesive the CS922 has an ABS design load rating of: 500 lbs (227 kg) in Tension 900 lbs (408 kg) in Shear The Click Bond Ultimate Load would be: 6000 lbs (2722 kg) in Tension 9000 lbs (4082 kg) in Shear Since its development this fastener has become the only way some customers choose to mount many heavy duty items in naval/marine, oil & gas and military vehicle applications. Typical applications for this type of fastener include (but are by no means limited to): Exterior Fender Attachment Flooring Installation Water Filtration System Installation Large Cable Tray Mounting Decorative Trim Attachment Heavy Weapons Mounting Furniture Installation For more information on this fastener and the wider Click Bond commercial range in the UK, please contact our technical sales team at FASTAVIA LIMITED who will be more than happy to help you find the right fastener for your application. #marine #fasteners #bonded #adhesive #navy #military #groundequipment #cruiseships #oilrigs #oilandgas Alliance of Global Fastener Technology Specialists (AGFTS)

Click Bonders had the great privilege to welcome Commander Rebecca Calder, USNR (Ret.) at our fall All Hands meeting. As a former F-18 pilot who flew combat flights, her talk about her experiences and lessons learned had us all at the ends of our seats! Best of all was hearing how our parts help enable that aircraft to fly successful, safe missions. What an amazing impact that had on all of us!

This news is heartbreaking. As partners and friends of the team at Turkish Aerospace, we are horrified by this terrorist event that occurred over the weekend, and we offer up all our prayers and support to everyone affected, as well as their loved ones.
