  • We spoke too soon 👀 - we’re celebrating not just one but TWO VECTOR SDVOSB set-aside contract wins at VA! 🎉🎉 Last week CFT was awarded a $19.8M delivery order to support the SAMI Acquisition Management Program (AMP). And today, we were awarded a $3.8M delivery order to support Data Stewardship at the Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI). This work is instrumental in helping VA establish and apply a persistent, integrated set of enterprise capabilities supporting data governance and enterprise information management supporting the implementation of the VA Data Strategy (VADS). CFT will be developing Power BI dashboards, building oversight workflows, and providing strategic communication support to accelerate the use, quality, and interoperability of VA data assets. “These are two very exciting wins for CFT,” said Executive Vice President Sean Kelly. “Robust and modern acquisition management is at the heart of VA’s key modernization initiatives. Similarly, authoritative, accessible, and high-quality data is critical to improving Veteran services. We look forward to leveraging our robust PMO support capabilities and data management and analytics expertise to help SAMI and OEI build organizational capacity, master strategic and operational capabilities, and enhance their abilities to deliver value to Veterans and those that serve them.” Happy end of fiscal year, team!

End of fiscal year win! 🎉 On Monday CFT was awarded a $19.8M VECTOR SDVOSB set-aside delivery order to support and modernize the Strategic Acquisition Management Initiatives (SAMI) Acquisition Management Program (AMP). SAMI is responsible for maintaining and collaborating across the Office of Acquisition and Logistics (OAL) Executive Directorates in aligning AMP initiatives – including the new Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) – with VA priority objectives. Our team’s consulting services aim to empower SAMI staff, ensure alignment with legislative mandates, support organizational transformation, and develop VA’s acquisition workforce. Amazing job, all!

  • We love a mid-week win! 🏆 CFT was awarded a $1.4M contract to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, administration, and vulnerability remediation of Scaled Agile, Inc.'s piplanning.io, an industry leading COTS application that SAFe teams use to facilitate Planning Interval (PI) Planning. "With VA's shift to Product Line Management (PLM) and DevSecOps, VA has increasingly incorporated select toolsets aimed at empowering product teams by visualizing ongoing streams of work and enhancing cross-team communication, all while integrating seamlessly with VA's existing tech stack," said Executive Vice President Sean Kelly. "We're excited to play a part in VA's ongoing PLM transformation and deliver the tools product teams need to release software products faster, safer, and more efficiently." Well done all!

Heading into the weekend with a win! 🎉 CFT was awarded a $14M, 5-year contract to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with program management support services. Under this award, CFT will collaborate closely with the VA Logistics Redesign (VALOR) Program Integration Directorate (PID) to reduce variability, coordinate across offices, develop governance rigor, promote transparency, and improve system and process traceability as their staff manage the implementation and deployment of supply chain solutions. This project, awarded through the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside, aims to implement strategic, cohesive, disciplined, comprehensive, and flexible program and project management processes for the programs and projects within the VALOR Program Management Office (PMO). Activities include monitoring project metrics, rigorous risk management, and prompt reporting on Government- approved cost, schedule, and performance. In addition, CFT will support the implementation of tailored Agile governance processes within the VALOR PMO and collect metrics for continuous process improvement. “The VALOR PMO must be able to quickly identify, manage, and respond to risks and issues, which require sound, flexible governance processes that empower decision-making and facilitate task execution in a standardized and repeatable manner,” said Executive Vice President Sean Kelly. “We’re very excited to give VALOR staff the processes and tools they need to support supply chain management solutions and improve medical facility operations and Veteran care nationwide.” Congrats, team!
