The Parkinson's Foundation is a national leader in Parkinson's disease (PD) research, education, and advocacy with a commitment to advancing quality and safety in both inpatient and outpatient care. Last year they launched the 'Community Neurology Outreach' Initiative, based on its recent study showing that ~50% PD patients get their PD care from a community neurologist (npj, 2023). They are actively working to reach community neurology professionals to promote awareness of the Foundation’s free resources that can help clinicians and their patients more easily manage PD from diagnosis through advanced stages.
