We teamed up with Behavio to assess brand recall, message recognition, and viewer sentiment for four videos we ran on CTV and YouTube. The goal? Always be testing … 👨💻🔎
Sometimes, the data might surprise you! 👻 During an internal call last week at Closed Loop, Inc, the team dove into a perfect example of why testing is so important. Nisrin Makki launched a video campaign on LinkedIn for a client with a primary goal of views. In this case, you might think optimizing toward video views would make sense for the most efficient completion rate and CPV. But her testing told a different story. By using a Link Click objective instead, we saw some remarkable gains: 💡 262% higher Avg. Dwell Time 📈 519% increase in Completion Rate 🔥 2,068% increase in Video Watch Completes 🖱️ 484% increase in Link Clicks 💰 76% improvement in CPM 💸 83% improvement in CPC The takeaway? Always question assumptions and be willing to experiment with different strategies. Just because something seems to align theoretically doesn’t mean it’ll always drive the best results.
