🚀 CloudForge 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 🚀 The CloudForge team had an absolute blast connecting with clients, industry leaders, and future partners from across the steel industry. This year was a complete 180 from last. Last year? Just two of us at a tucked-away booth, hoping to grab attention. This year? 𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧 (thanks in part to our corn hole game and Yeti giveaway 😉). 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩: 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮. From panels to hallway chats, it was clear that technology and software are now seen as game-changers, especially for service centers in the steel supply chain. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚—𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 for demos, meetings, and more. A huge shout-out to our amazing clients who spread the word and made introductions. It just shows the power of community in this tight-knit yet massive industry. And this is just the beginning. Next year’s going to be even bigger, as tech continues to shape the future of the steel sector. We also hosted an exclusive executive steak dinner, which was a hit—𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧! A big thanks to Steel Market Update and Jill Waldman for making this all happen. Excited to officially announce that I joined CloudForge as a Founding Product Manager! I never thought I would be involved with the metals industry but the more I spoke to the founders and learned about the long term vision, the more exciting the opportunity was. It's pretty cool that the software we are building helps move literal tons of metal across the country daily to make everything from pipes to spacecraft (not exaggerating). I’m ~2 weeks in and having spoken to quite a few current and potential customers already, it's clear the impact CloudForge is having.
