  • Clovis Tech Support, LLC (clovistechsupport.com) is now hiring: Reliable On Call Home Tech Support ****Must be able to pass background screening and drug testing**** ***Previous references must be supplied (we will follow up with them)*** ---------------------------- Employment Type: 1099 (Considered self-employed, not a W2 employee) Rate: $50 per successful job. We are paying you for solutions, not an hourly rate for your time. You should already know what you are doing so you can be in and out quickly to earn a good hourly rate. Most jobs are very simple and require 1-hour or less (unplug/reset/update are very, very common fixes). Hours: On call (set your own schedule). Most appointments are typically 9-5 Monday through Friday. We advertise that we are closed for Saturday and Sunday but can be open if you prefer to work those days. Skill-level: Tech support level 1 and up (let us know what you can do and what you are comfortable with). Pay: We have (3) options; get paid bi-weekly with a check or bank deposit or get paid after the successful job using any peer-paying solution of your choice (note; most charge fees, some do not (Zelle), Clovis Tech Support does not paying money transfer fees). ---------------------------- Requirements: (1) Broad understanding of consumer technology; computers, laptops, wifi, TVs, printers, and more. You'll be dealing with common household technology so owning it and having experience with it is a must-have. (2) Be a problem solver with a systematic troubleshooting process; go through the proper steps to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair. Also, know that at the end of the day you can always reference Google, ChatGPT, and other resources for the exact solution to solve whatever issue you are dealing with. (3) Be reliable. If you say you are going to be at an appointment at a specific time, you are at the appointment a few minutes early so that 100% of the time you are walking up to the customer's door exactly on-time. We take this seriously. Any legitimate excuse has valid proof, any excuse without proof is grounds for penalty. A penalty just means you will drop to the bottom of the list for jobs. Those with two or more penalties will not receive future jobs. (4) Have reliable transportation. We service Fresno county and everyone uses their own vehicles for in-home service appointments.
