ClowdCover would like to introduce the newest addition to our Managed Services support team. Gerald Matthews is a seasoned IT professional with over 13 years of experience. Gerald has held roles ranging from Help Desk to IT Director. His expertise spans network services, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, and employee onboarding and training. Prior to joining ClowdCover, Gerald served as an IT Analyst in healthcare and IT Director in education. At a charter school system, he managed services for over 1000 users across 4 sites, leveraging Microsoft 365 and Google Suite. In healthcare, he oversaw 200+ users on Microsoft 365, including a successful migration to Microsoft Azure. Gerald is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and optimizing IT solutions for our clients to enhance their organizational efficiency. He's eager to contribute his skills and experience to ClowdCover's fast-paced environment, focusing on advanced managed services. We are proud to introduce our new team member Cavin O'Quin, Senior Architect-Data Center. Cavin is a seasoned technology professional with over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative IT solutions. His expertise spans storage solutions, Cisco UCS B-series compute, server and desktop virtualization. With a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence, Cavin has consistently delivered high-quality results throughout his career. As a Cisco Certified Network Professional – Data Center (CCNP-DC), Cavin brings a deep understanding of network infrastructure and security. Prior to joining ClowdCover, he served as a Cybersecurity Architect at Entergy, where he leveraged his skills to protect critical systems and data. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Cavin is a lifelong learner with a curiosity for emerging technologies and unconventional pursuits. He enjoys experimenting with hydroponic gardening, cultivating gourmet mushrooms, and finding creative simple solutions to complex IT challenges. Please help us welcome Cavin to the ClowdCover team!

With approximately 5 years of experience supporting the Microsoft suite and a recently completed bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Nick brings a solid background in tech and a passion for continuous learning and customer service. For the past six years, Tyler has been honing his IT skills across Greater Baton Rouge, providing comprehensive support in help desk phone assistance, on-site troubleshooting, and backup management. Throughout his career, he has always strived for efficiency and top-notch service delivery. Before entering the IT field, Tyler served as a team leader during his service in the military while stationed in Japan. This experience instilled in him strong leadership qualities and a disciplined approach to problem-solving. It also emphasized the importance of teamwork and precision, values that he carries over to his professional journey today. Outside of the office, Tyler is passionate about fitness and staying healthy. He thrives in environments that challenge him to innovate and improve processes, which is one of the reasons he says that he finds working at ClowdCover particularly fulfilling.
