Just looking back at some of the work my team and I have accomplished over the past few years and a reminder to me why I love being a chef. Hard to believe this food was developed for a multi-unit & multi-concept movie theater chain! I am so grateful for the career that learning this trade has provided, and for the individuals that have invested in my training and those that have invested their time & mentorship into my development. It’s taken me all over the world, put me shoulder to shoulder to learn under some of the best in the industry and in turn, I’ve developed profitable menus and F&B programs for award winning, nationally recognized concepts. As Chefs, we have to stay highly motivated and passionate about what we do. We can give back to those who have invested in us by keeping the legacy of their craft alive and paying it forward by providing that same development & mentorship to the next generation. We don’t stop often to reflect or celebrate achievements but, we should every now and then. Not out of vanity but, to remember how far we’ve come, keep that spark alive and pass it to those who are standing where we were 20+ years ago eager to learn.
