Helping non-tech entrepreneurs build custom apps to start or scale their businesses - no coding or tech skills required

About us

How can you grow your business without hiring more people or maxing out your hours? How can you transition into a new stream of income without having to start all over in your career? How can you set yourself on a new path toward financial freedom...in mere months? Not years... The answer is simple… Apps. Building a custom app can launch you down each of those paths (and then some). But the process of building a custom app? Now that’s a little trickier... We guide founders through the development of their custom apps and teach them how to build minimum viable products without writing a single line of code. What does that mean for them? > A way to transition away from their old job, and into a new business > Scalability...no more need for more employees or more hours when you can scale software instead > Smooth internal business processes (no more manual work) for your own business or others like yours > A way to grow your existing business, or start a brand new one HERE’S WHO WE HELP: ✓ SERVICE PROVIDERS/CONSULTANTS/AGENCIES - Think people or businesses doing hourly or project-based work. Their processes are either manual, or they’re currently using old, outdated, and frustrating apps to help run their businesses. They want to build an app for their own business, and maybe even sell it to businesses like their down the road. ✓ INDUSTRY EXPERTS - These are people who know their industries inside and out. They also know there are current problems going unsolved, or if there is a solution, it’s not a good one. They want to introduce a new solution to their industry, or completely overhaul and outdo an existing one. ✓ SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS - These business owners are running successful companies, and now they need an app to help them scale. Maybe they’re streamlining manual tasks, expanding to new online markets, or getting rid of the inefficient software they currently use. Instead, they’re building custom apps specific to their very own businesses.

Most of us have someone in our corner who encourages us to slow down, rest, and take things easy. They appreciate comfort themselves, and because of that, they make sure we're comfortable, too. This might not be glaringly obvious, but if you've ever had a friend, spouse, or family member say things like… - You work so hard - You deserve a break - You juggle so much - Etc… Then you might know what I mean. (There's a chance you might be this person, too!) And that's not a bad thing in the least - we need these people because they help provide balance. But just like we benefit from that supportive, more comfortable influence in our lives, we also need someone in our corner who encourages the uncomfortable. We need them to say things like… - You're capable of more - You can push through the discomfort - You're almost there Because it's those people who drive us toward accomplishing our biggest goals in life. Now, some people are turned off by that thought - that we should push beyond our comfort zone or carry loads that aren't sustainable... I'll be honest, I've gotten my fair share of hate-comments here on social media for even suggesting it. 😅 But I want to let you in on a secret I've learned about building businesses… There will never be a perfect balance. You'll never find the perfect time. You'll never feel completely ready. You'll never have full confidence. So if you're searching for a balance of "comfort" and "success," you'll be looking for a long time. Instead, my experience has shown the most progress happens in sprints. That means if you're working full time and haven't found a break to build your app, for example, you've gotta "sprint" for several months (i.e. carry a heavier load) to get it done… So long as you know what you're sprinting toward (and you have a plan for what happens after), this is how you manage everything at once. Resist it if you'd like, but I've never seen it happen another way. Now, you may already have someone in your corner who knows you can work through a sprint like that… But if not, let me tell you right now, my friend - you've got this.

People always ask how long it'll take to build their app on Bubble... The better question is, how consistent will you be? Because ultimately, you're trying to do 2 things at once... 1. Build an app 2. Build a skill set You can't achieve the 1st without the 2nd. Compare it to asking the question, "how long will it take to be able to run a 5k in 20 minutes" if you're not an avid runner... Inconsistency in building the skill (i.e. your fitness) will result in never running that 20-minute 5k. So if you're trying to gauge how long it'll take to build your app, figure this out first.

It’s hard to become a good app developer and business owner if… You don’t enjoy solving problems. At the end of the day, that’s the primary job both those titles are responsible for. App development is one giant puzzle, and business growth is a massive experiment. Without a love for problem-solving, both will become taxing.

The 4 keys to success as a no code founder… 1. Clarity on the problem your app solves 2. Ability to put on blinders 3. Consistency and discipline 4. Willingness to be uncomfortable If you have these, the “tech stuff” can always be learned.

Having industry experience related to the app you’re building gives you knowledge of “the 5 Ps”… - Problem - Pain points - Processes - People (i.e. potential users) - Potential (of the market) It’s not impossible to become successful within a market you have no experience with… But there are a million easier ways to build a business.

Here’s how to move fast with app development (but without making bad decisions)… 1. Envision the full scope 2. Plan for the first version 3. Keep blinders on until you finish the first version In other words, know where you’re going big picture, then shift focus to the 1-2 steps in front of you (and stay there). Otherwise, development has a sneaky way of endlessly unraveling.

You can’t move fast with your app until you understand these 2 things (which most people aren’t talking about)… #1: No decision you make is set in stone. And on top of that, the only way to make the right decision is to try something and see whether it works. This might sound counterintuitive because what if it doesn’t work? But here’s the beauty in app and business development… You don’t just get one shot. You get however many you choose to take. #2. Most of the knowledge you gain comes from “doing.” That means if you try to prepare yourself with all the knowledge necessary in order to perfectly execute every step you take… You will not succeed. Remember, you don’t need to know everything in order to do a thing… It happens the other way around.
