HOUSTON, TX – Today, Archaea Energy, a subsidiary of bp (NYSE: BP), and UGI Energy Services, LLC (“UGIES”), a subsidiary of UGI Corporation (NYSE: UGI) celebrate the start-up of their joint venture's renewable natural gas (RNG) plant in Hegins, Pennsylvania. The companies formed the Aurum Renewables joint venture (JV) to develop and own the RNG plant, which is adjacent to the Commonwealth Environmental Systems landfill in Schuylkill County. #TBT to an incredible day at De Saegher Dairy. Last week we teamed up with SKS Development, the MI Chamber of Commerce, and De Saegher Energy to showcase their anaerobic digester facilities! 🐄 We were honored to give Michigan legislators and staff from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy and the Michigan Public Service Commission a firsthand look at these innovative #methanecapture projects.
