Strong wind and heavy rain caused widespread damage as Helene made its way through our service area this morning. Crews encountered challenging conditions, fallen trees, broken poles, and downed lines. We appreciate your patience as they continue to work throughout all parts of our service area until all power has been restored.

Helene has made landfall in Florida and we'll see the effects in Cobb EMC’s service area overnight/early Friday morning. Our crews will work through the night to restore power safely as weather conditions allow. Report outages or hazardous conditions at cobbemc.com.
