About us
The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families and individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing, and service programs. The Coalition’s comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 18,000 individuals and families each year. Positions at the Coalition span more than 50 programs and offer a variety of employment opportunities in a trauma-informed environment. We value staff development and training, within a culturally diverse workforce, that promotes innovative thinking and creative approaches to out work. The Coalition offers a strong benefits package and encourages open dialogue to continually strengthen the employment experience.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD), in collaboration with the Colorado County Clerks Association, is offering two Zero Fare to Vote days to encourage voter participation in the upcoming general election. This week’s #50for50 customer is Renaissance Legacy Lofts, a development in downtown Denver serving formerly homeless residents with 98 units of supportive housing. Developed and operated by Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Renaissance Legacy Lofts is adjacent to the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center, which provides medical respite care for unhoused individuals after a hospital stay. https://lnkd.in/g46qaWx5

Thank you to the City of Austin, Texas Delegation for visiting the Coalition this week! Made up of Austin councilmembers, advisors, city officials, and more, this delegation visited the Stout Street Health Center, John Parvensky Stout Street Recuperative Care Center, and Renaissance Legacy Lofts to learn more about the Coalition's services, with a specific emphasis on the integration of housing and healthcare. Thank you to all who visited for your shared work to combat homelessness through proven data-driven solutions.
