Codell Construction Company is a fifth generation, family owned corporation. J.C. Codell established the company’s headquarters in Winchester, KY in 1914, as a heavy and highway construction company. Codell Construction Company diversified into the field of Construction Management in the mid-1980’s. Since then, Codell has successfully completed hundreds of projects in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Louisiana, Georgia, and North Carolina, through Construction Manager, Construction Manager at Risk, and General Contractor project delivery methods. We have provided pre-construction, construction phase, and post construction phase services for new construction and renovation projects with budgets ranging from one million to forty-five million dollars. Three generations of the family currently work for the company in various positions. Codell employs 38 people as executives, project managers, construction managers, and administrative staff. These employees continue to provide Codell’s clients with the same quality, commitment, and integrity that the company was founded on. Exterior: Exterior Framing - 100% complete Brick - 50% complete Roof is temporarily dried in with the installation of the ice/water shield Site Utilities - 90% complete Interior: Interior framing - 85% complete MEP above-ceiling rough in for the 1st floor - 85% complete Drywall commences on the 1st floor on 10/22/24
Take a look at these awesome views of Alice Lloyd College! Codell is fortunate to have been a part of multiple projects for Alice Lloyd College, including work completed this summer on the campus stream and bridges following the flooding of Eastern Kentucky in 2022.
Codell has recently completed work on 5 projects for Clay County Schools: the Clay County High School Renovation/Addition, Clay County High School Athletic Improvements, Clay County High School Football Locker Room, Clay County Storage Building, and Oneida Elementary Renovation.
