A throwback to last Monday when members of our Codina Partners Team, along with community leaders, were invited for an exclusive look into the progress being made at the UHealth Doral Medical Center. This comprehensive healthcare facility will bring state-of-the-art medical care, from primary care to surgery and cancer care, to the very core of Downtown Doral, as well as the wider Doral community and its neighbors. Many thanks to the UHealth Leadership Team!

We're delighted to share that Codina Partners has received site plan approval for a new, mid-rise multi-family tower in Downtown Doral located at the intersection of NW 53rd Street and NW 52nd Terrace. Sevilla will consist of 412-units, and will be the first lifestyle center of its kind in the entire downtown district. Floor plans will range from 700 SF to 1,700 SF and offer between 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The addition of this unique lifestyle building will add much needed housing to the area as Doral continues to flourish as a center for living and commerce. Construction is slated to begin in the latter part of 2024, with delivery of the first phase of residences expected in Q2 2026.

To see so many of Miami's movers and shakers come together as business leaders acting in the civic interest and help Miami continue its evolution as a world-class city is truly inspiring. We could not be more proud of our CEO, Ana-Marie Codina Barlick, and the other founding members of Partnership for Miami for their vision and collaboration. Through this unique alignment of business leaders, Miami is poised to build an even brighter future—one that will inspire the City's transformation into a place that works for everyone.
More than any other American city over the past 40 years, Miami has transformed itself into a global center for business, sports, arts, and hospitality. To continue to prosper, Miami must work for all its residents. Today, a surge of investment offers Miami the momentum it needs to chart a path to sustained growth. Capturing the full potential of this opportunity requires a deliberate, coordinated, and strategic path forward. We established the Partnership for Miami for that reason. We are business leaders acting in the civic interest to build a world-class city that balances growth and affordability, champions smart development, shores up school systems and government institutions, and maintains the natural and built environment to ensure it is thriving and resilient for decades to come. To advance this vision, in partnership with dozens of stakeholders, we developed "Miami 2035: A Miami That Works for All," a civic agenda for Miami-Dade County. Our fervent hope is that this agenda contributes to deep reflection on the kind of city we seek to create, unlocks a new level of civic commitment across our community, and brings about the actions required to build a Miami that works for everyone. Downtown Doral is unique, and when it comes to our retailers, we are looking to bring some of the most unique and successful concepts from around the country. One such concept happens to be right here in South Florida. We're excited to share that SOLEFLY, the shoe, apparel & accessory store that has become the capital of "Sneakerhead" culture here in South Florida will be coming to Downtown Doral! We look forward to SOLEFLY welcoming their first visitors in Summer 2024.

We are so proud of the spotlight put on the City of Doral in Global Miami Magazine's February Issue. Nearly 20 years ago, we started on a journey to reshape the newly formed City of Doral. Our goal was to give a future world-class city a heart, a City Hall worthy of its stature, a downtown that seamlessly blended the best of both an urban and suburban lifestyle, a home for the arts through one of largest collections of outdoor interactive art on display in South Florida, a cultural arts center, some of the best local healthcare institutions, and a world-class, dual language education through a charter elementary and upper school. We still have more to go to realize our full vision for Downtown Doral, but we could not be more proud of what it has already become: the ultimate place to live, work, play and learn in South Florida. https://lnkd.in/emdviwzQ
