Today is The White House and U.S. Department of Education Summit on Digital Equity, Inclusion, and Emerging Technology. We’re honored to work with Digital Promise to support this important effort. The Summit features the recent release of the National Educational Technology Plan (NETP) that highlights what’s possible for learners in the U.S. when digital equity is achieved. NETP is a clarion call for the closing of the digital learning gap, with a focus on the digital design, digital use, and the digital access divides. P-16 leaders and educators, policymakers, and industry leaders are meeting for a transformative dialogue on the digital design divide and how we can harness emerging technologies to empower educators and create a more equitable future for all learners. Check out the new Digital Equity Competitive Grants from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
